Delete your ChangeStamp account

In the app (iPhone, Android or web)

1. Sign in and open Profile.
2. Tap your name to open your account.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Choose Delete everything now and confirm.

Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out. The same screen also lets you take a 3-month or 6-month break, or leave and keep your records, instead of deleting.

If you signed in with Apple, on iPhone Apple asks you to confirm once more so ChangeStamp can also be disconnected from your Apple Account; the app tells you if that did not happen. You can always remove ChangeStamp yourself in Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple on an Apple device, or at account.apple.com.

Without the app

Email support@changestamp.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We confirm the request comes from you and delete the account and its data within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your account and profile, meal logs, weight entries, body photos and every other record linked to your account. Photos are removed from storage within 30 days.

What is kept

• A food photo you submitted that we selected as a shared card photo stays in the food catalog, without your name or any link to your account.
• If you referred someone, they keep their referral benefit; any referral credit that would have gone to you goes to ChangeStamp.

Before you delete

• If your wallet still holds credit, the account cannot be deleted. Spend the credit or request a refund first.
• A subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play is billed by Apple or Google. Cancel it in your store account settings; deleting your account does not stop store billing.

If you take a break or leave instead

Nothing is deleted while you are away, and signing in again restores your account as you left it. If you do not sign in within 12 months after your break ends (or after you leave), your account and data are permanently deleted. We email you 30 days and 7 days before that happens.
