Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using ChangeStamp, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use ChangeStamp.

2. What ChangeStamp is

ChangeStamp is a personal body transformation tracking tool. It helps you log meals, track your calorie deficit, record weight, and upload body progress photos. AI-generated macro estimates can be wrong and should be reviewed and edited before use. They are for personal reference only and are not medical or clinical advice. ChangeStamp is not a medical device. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your diet or exercise routine.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ChangeStamp. By using ChangeStamp you represent that you meet this requirement. Purchased Credits cannot be redeemed for cash or cash-equivalent rewards. If ChangeStamp separately offers an Earned Reward redemption, that offer may require you to be at least 18 years old (see Section 14).

4. Account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• You may not share your account or transfer it to another person.
• You may delete your account at any time from the app's Profile settings.

5. Store purchases and payments

• When sales open, new customer payments will be limited to consumable Purchased Credit packs sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play in the ChangeStamp app.
• Verified Purchased Credits may be spent only on eligible digital products through ChangeStamp's server-recorded wallet and order process.
• Purchased Credits do not expire and cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash or gift cards, used as a cash-prize stake, or used to pay for physical goods.
• Apple or Google controls the store payment and cash-refund process under its terms. Cancelling an eligible undelivered ChangeStamp order may return Purchased Credits; it does not itself issue a store cash refund.
• No new Stripe checkout is offered. Existing Stripe access and billing obligations, if any, continue under their original terms until ended.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use ChangeStamp for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service.
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party rights.
• Share or resell access to a paid account.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos and data you upload. You grant ChangeStamp a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your data.

8. Disclaimers

ChangeStamp is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy of AI macro estimates.
• That the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• Any specific health or fitness outcome.

Individual results vary. Weight loss and body composition changes depend on many factors outside ChangeStamp's control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChangeStamp's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Purchased Credits and Earned Rewards

Purchased Credits are bought through Apple or Google for eligible digital products. Earned Rewards are awarded separately for verified in-app activity such as daily wraps, workouts, hydration goals, and other tracked behaviors. Neither balance is legal tender, and the two balances are not interchangeable.

• Purchased Credits: They are credited only after server verification of a store transaction, do not expire, and remain subject to the digital-use limits in Section 5.
• Earned Rewards: They are awarded from verified server-side activity. Awards may be held for review and released after a cool-down period.
• Earned Reward terms: Any expiration, eligibility, limits, identity checks, or redemption options apply only when disclosed for that reward program. They never convert Purchased Credits into cash-equivalent value.
• Modification: We may change Earned Reward rates or offers with notice where required; immediate changes are permitted to prevent fraud. Verified Purchased Credits retain their non-expiring status.

15. Referral Program

ChangeStamp operates a referral program that rewards existing users (“Referrers”) for inviting new users (“Referred Users”) who meet engagement criteria. Participation is voluntary and governed by these terms.

• Referrer eligibility: Any active ChangeStamp account holder. There is no age restriction to refer, but any Earned Reward redemption follows Section 3 and Section 14.
• Referred User benefit: A one-time discount on the first month of ChangeStamp Pro subscription, applied automatically when signing up through a valid referral link.
• Referrer reward trigger: Earned Rewards are awarded to the Referrer when the Referred User completes a 7-day activity streak. The reward is held for 48 hours for fraud review before being released to your settled reward balance.
• Reward amount: Standard rate is 500 Earned Rewards per successful referral. Verified Creator / Partner tier users (see Section 17) may earn elevated rates as posted in their dashboard.
• No cap, pattern-based review: There is no monthly cap on referral count. However, referral batches that show abnormally low diversity (e.g., same IP, device, or geographic concentration) will be held for manual review for up to 7 business days. Verified referrals will be paid in full.
• Clawback: If a qualifying referral event is later reversed, the corresponding Earned Reward may be reversed. This never debits Purchased Credits.

16. Anti-Fraud and Prohibited Conduct

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of unredeemed Credits, and legal action where applicable:

• Self-referral or creating multiple accounts to earn referral rewards.
• Using fake email addresses, phone numbers, or payment methods to create accounts.
• Subscribing to ChangeStamp Pro with the intent to refund immediately after a Referrer reward triggers.
• Using bots, scripts, emulators, or automated tools to simulate app activity or distribute referral links.
• Use of stolen, fraudulent, or unauthorized payment cards.
• Coordinating with others to manipulate referral, streak, or reward systems.

We use device fingerprinting, IP analysis, behavioral signals, and pattern detection to identify abuse. Suspected fraud may result in held rewards pending manual review, Credits clawback, or permanent account termination. We reserve the right to share fraud-related information with payment processors and law enforcement.

17. Creator and Partner Tiers

Users with verified social media presence may apply for Creator (10,000+ followers) or Partner (100,000+ followers) tier through the in-app application flow. Approval is at our sole discretion and may require submission of profile screenshots or other verification materials. Approved Creators receive elevated referral reward rates and access to dedicated dashboards. Partner-tier benefits are subject to a separate written agreement.

18. FTC Disclosure (U.S. Referrers)

U.S. Federal Trade Commission guidelines require Referrers who share ChangeStamp referral links to disclose that they may receive compensation if someone signs up through their link. When posting your referral link on social media or elsewhere, include language such as: “I may receive ChangeStamp Credits if you sign up through this link.” Failure to disclose may result in your referral rewards being voided.

19. Tax responsibility

You are solely responsible for any taxes arising from redemption of Credits or receipt of cash-equivalent rewards. If the cash-equivalent value of rewards you receive in a calendar year exceeds U.S. $600 (or applicable threshold in your jurisdiction), we may be required to issue tax forms (e.g., IRS Form 1099) and report to the relevant authorities.
